PICS: Commanding General of US Army Flynn wraps up his visit to Nepal
KATHMANDU, June 13: Commanding General of the United States Army Pacific Charles A. Flynn has wrapped up his first trip to Nepal.
Flynn arrived in Nepal for his four day visit on Thursday.
During his visit, Flynn took this opportunity to visit and observe U.S. support at the Birendra Peace Operations Training Center, Panchkhal and other Nepali Army units for humanitarian assistance and United Nations Peacekeeping efforts, according to the U.S Embassy in Kathmandu.
He also paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Deuba and discussed ways to further strengthen the U.S.-Nepal cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.
