Govt preparing to handover public institutions in loss to private sector

KATHMANDU, May 24: The government is preparing to handover public institutions that are in loss to the private sector in the upcoming fiscal year 2022/23.

Reading the government’s policies and programs for the fiscal year 2022/23 in parliament, President Bhandari maintained that those public institutions in loss will either be closed or handed over to the private sector on Tuesday.

Likewise, the government is also preparing to include the private sector in supplies and distribution of petroleum products in the country from the next fiscal year.
