Polling center vandalized at Kavre

KATHMANDU, May 13: As the local level is currently underway in all the 753 local units across the country, the polling center in Panchkhal  Municipality-13 of Kavrepalanchowk district has been vandalized.

The voting has been postponed as the Shree Ram Secondary School-based polling center was vandalized.

The ballot box is protected, according to the police.

Cadres of ruling parties vandalized the polling center accusing the election officer of providing ten ballot papers to a person.

The disputes related to the ballot paper led to conflict, said SP Chakra Raj Joshi of District Police Office, Kavre.
