Nepali nationals in Ukraine urged to leave the country via Slovakia, Poland, Hungary

KATHMANDU, Feb 25: The government has urged Nepali nationals living in Ukraine to flee the country via Slovakia, Poland and Hungary as the war between Russia and Ukraine intensifies.

Issuing a press statement, the Germany-based Embassy of Nepal has urged Nepali citizens to flee Ukraine via Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.

Slovakia, Poland and Hungary have opened their border for humanitarian aid and rescue, according to the Embassy.

“Those willing to return to Nepal can flee Ukraine via these countries,” further reads the statement.
