Elephant menace in Urlabari

Urlabari, Morang,  Locals have been compelled to stay awake whole due to menace of wild elephants at Urlabari, Millajung, Sundarharaicha and Belbari areas. 
The locals are terrorized and compelled to stay whole night without sleeping after the elephants started destroying houses, said Krishna Prasad Pokharel of Urlabari-1. 
Mostly locals from ward no 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of Sundarharaicha municipality and ward no 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of Belbari municipality have been victimized from elephant menace. 
Elephants used to attack people, destroy houses and eat food grains kept in the houses. The elephants have destroyed houses of Purna Kumar Darjee, Bijay Chapagain, Krishna Prasad Bhatatrai and Tulasi Subedi.
