3,553 corona cases reported Thursday taking active caseload to 14,340

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Nepal on Thursday reported 3,553 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the positivity rate stood at 23.55 percent. As many as 15,081 tests were carried out in the past 24 hours. 

With this, the total number of active cases throughout the country has climbed to 14,340 compared to 6,755 on Sunday, earlier this week.
