People flock to vaccine centers as govt has made vaccination card mandatory at public places from Jan 22

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: COVID-19 Vaccination Centres across the Kathmandu Valley are crowded with the general public seeking COVID-19 jabs as the government has made the vaccination card mandatory at public places from January 22.

According to the decision of the Home Ministry, one is required to produce a COVID-19 vaccine card while receiving public services and entering public places amid the rising risk of the novel coronavirus disease in the country.

Once the rule is enforced, one has to show the vaccine card before entering public places including offices, hotels, restaurants, cinema halls, stadiums, parks and during the flights as well.
