Province 2 Cabinet expanded, Mahato and Yadav from CPN (US) inducted as ministers

KATHMANDU: The Council of Ministers in Province 2 was expanded with the participation of the CPN (Unified Socialist) in the government on Sunday. 

Two ministers from the recently formed party were inducted into the Lal Babu Raut Government. They also assumed their office from Sunday itself after taking the oath of office and secrecy. 

New Cabinet ministers include Minister for Industry, Tourism and Forest, Shatrughan Mahato, and Minister for Law, Justice and Province Assembly Affairs, Pramod Kumar Yadav. Province

Chief Hari Shanker Mishra administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new faces in the Cabinet who were appointed by Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut. 

It may be noted that the Chief Minister relieved Minister Ram Naresh Raya from his own party Janata Samajbadi (JSP) to induct the CPN (US) in the government. 

Mahato had won the Province Assembly election from Dhanusha 4 (B) and Yadav had emerged victorious from the Siraha 3 (B).  The CPN (US) has a total of 13 members in the Province 2 Province Assembly.
