JSP sacks three Lumbini ministers from party
KATHMANDU, July 27: Janata Samajbadi (JSP) has sacked three ministers of the Lumbini Province government from the party.
An Executive Committee meeting of the party held on Tuesday afternoon, relieved Santosh Kumar Shah, Bijaya Kumar Yadav and Kalpana Pandey even from the party membership. While Shah is serving as Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Yadav is MInister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives. Similarly, Pandey is Industry, Forest and Environment Minister in the province.
Earlier, they were also sought clarifications after they breached party whip, which they did not respond to.
The meeting also endorsed the statue of the JSP parliamentary party.
A three-member committee has been formed to pick the name of the parliamentary party leader. The committee includes Nawaraj Subedi, Ramesh Yadav and Sushila Shrestha.
