Prohibitory order likely to be enforced in these districts including Kathmandu Valley
KATHMANDU, April 25: COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has decided to enforce prohibitory order if COVID-19 infections surpass 200 in the hill districts and 500 in the districts in terai region or in the Kathmandu Valley. The CCMC has also delegated the authority to the local administrations to impose the prohibitory order under such circumstances.
A meeting of the CCMC held on Sunday took a decision to this effect.
With this, prohibitory order is likely to be enforced in the nine districts including those three in the Kathmandu Valley. As of Sunday afternoon, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Morang, Parsa, Kaski, Dang, Rupandehi and Banke reported more than 500 cases of the disease.
