Four held on Mhaipi shooting
Kathmandu - Police have arrested four persons in connection with the Mhaipi shooting. Kalyan Gurung from Laprak, Gorkha, was shot at Mhaipi in the capital city on today morning.
Asun Gurung, Nabaraj Lamichhane, Surendra Sahi and Sabina Pande Chhetri were held by the police in accusation of their involvement in shooting at Kalyan.
Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Premise, Rabindra Kumar Dhanuk, informed at a press meet that investigation revealed the fact that Asun Gurung shot at Kalyan Gurung, accusing the latter of catcalling a girl.
Kalyan and Sabina had been the same disco. As Kalyan followed Sabina, she called Asun to revenge. Asun and Sabina chased Kalyan by a car and shot at Kalyan reaching Mhaipi. Asun is originally from Manang district.
The police further informed that the injured Kalyan was receiving treatment at TU Teaching Hospital.
