Ten die from COVID-19 in Morang

Kathmandu - Ten people have succumbed to Coronavirus infection in Morang district in the last 18 hours. Among the deceased, eight were receiving treatment in different hospitals in Biratnagar while two were availing treatment in home-isolation. Among the deceased, eight are male and two are female.

The deceased were a 57-year-old man from Myanglung-10 in Tehrathum district, 65-year-old man from Gauradaha-5 in Jhapa district according to Narayan Dahal, Manager of the Nobel Teaching Hospital. Likewise, a 70-year-old man from Haldibari-4 in Jhapa, 21-year-old youth from Triyuga Municipality in Udayapur district died due to the flu-like infection.

Also, a 77-year-old man from Ratuwamai Municipality-9 in Morang, a 69-year-old woman from Itahari-5 in Sunsari also breathed their last due to deadly infection. Similarly, 77-year-old man from Biratnagar-3 in Morang also succumbed to Coronavirus infection. A 77-year-old woman from Sundarharaicha Municipality-7 in Morang also died at her home-isolation due to COVID-19.

COVID-19 death is reported from an 89-year-old man from Biratnagar-3 in Morang. He died in home-isolation in course of treatment. Another 50-year-old man from Katahari-2 in Morang also died on Monday night. Almost of the COVID-19 patients who died in the past 18 hours were suffering from fever, respiratory related complications, kidney related ailment and cardiovascular complications.
