People’s representatives in Lumbini not receiving festival allowance

Kathmandu - The Lumbini State Government has said that the people’s representatives in the State have not been provided with festival allowance. None of the people’s representatives under the State Government and local levels has received such an allowance, the Chief Minister’s press advisor said in a statement today.

Issuing a the press statement, Chief Minister’s press advisor Sher Bahadur KC made this clear after the issue of festival allowance was raised by linking it with the people’s representatives. KC further said that Chief Minister of the State, Speaker of the State Assembly, ministers, state assembly members and representatives of the local levels in Lumbini have not received any sort of festival allowance so far.
