Tourism Minister Dev furnishes clarification

Kathmandu - Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Jitendra Narayan Dev, has furnished clarification to the Election Commission relating on the transfer of Director General of Nepal Civil Aviation Authority, Sanjiv Gautam. 

Three days back, the EC had asked the Minister to furnish clarification why he transferred DG Gautam without its consent. 

EC Spokesperson Nabaraj Dhakal informed that the Minister furnished justification by arriving at the EC office Sunday. 

The EC had asked Minister Dev why he was not subjected to the punishment as the transfer violated the election code of conduct.
