Parajuli conferred on Padmashree Literary Award

Kathmandu - Poet Navaraj Parajuli has been conferred on the Padmashree Literary Award for his anthology of poems, 'Sagarmathako Gahirahi' (Depth of the Sagarmatha peak). 

The award was given organizing a programme in the capital city on Thursday. 

Similarly, senior journalist Nagendra Raj Sharma and Rochak Ghimire were jointly given the Padmashree Sadhana Samman' for their contribution to literary journalism. 

Both awards carry the purse of Rs 200,000 and letter of appreciation.
