Five dengue patients found in Mahottari

Mahottari - At least five cases of dengue have been reported in Bardibas of Mahottari district in the recent days. 

According to the Public Health Inspector at the government hospital in Bardibas, Min Bahadur Sen, five patients including Chief of Gauribas Health Post Mahendra Shah were tested positive for dengu virus when they reached various health facilities in the district with complaints of high fever, severe headache, pain in muscles and joints and rashes among others. 

Others detected with mosquito borne disease were Kishore Bhattarai, 38, of Bardibas Municipality ward no 1, Pramila Karki, 30, of Bardibas Municipality ward no 2, Khin Maya Pokharel, 60, of ward no 5 and Khur Haru Adhikari, 40, of ward no 14 of the same municipality. 

Minister for Health, Giriraj Mani Pokharel, whose is currently in his hometown in Mahottari, has already instructed the Chief of the concerned authorities for the prevention of dengue virus infection, according to the District Public Health Office, Mahottari.
