Lawmaker Chhantyal passes away

Kathmandu - Lawmaker Gyan Kumari Chhantyal passed away this morning at the age of 66. Nepali Congress Baglung constituency 2 president Dron Kunwar confirmed the passing away of the leader amidst treatment in Kathmandu.

She had been long suffering from heart disease and was admitted to the Kathmandu-based Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Bansbari for around a month. The PR member in the parliament from the Nepali Congress, Chhantyal had been elected to the second Constituent Assembly from the Baglung constituency 3.
