Minister of State Gurung takes stock of development projects

Tehrathum - Minister of State for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Sita Gurung, has said the government-funded development projects are marred by slow progress due to negligence on the part of contractors and construction companies. 

The Minister of State who arrived here to take stock of progress regarding the development projects under construction in the district urged bodies concerned to be serious towards completing projects within the deadline.

 She pledged to continuously working to end such anomalies seen in the area of construction. 

On the occasion, District Coordination Committee Chief Shiba Prasad Dhungana apprised the Minister of State that construction companies were mainly responsible for delay in the completion of development projects based in the district.
