Fulpati observed in Birgunj

Parsa - Fulpati, the seventh day of the 15-day Dashain festival, was observed with fervour in Birgunj this morning. 

Fulpati, an assortment of flowers, plants, leaves and fruits of different plants considered auspicious, collected from the Birta Nishani Mai Bhagawati Temple at the auspicious hour was taken into the Gahawamai Temple as per the established rituals amidst special security arrangements. Parsa Officiating Chief District Officer Durga Dutta Poudel performed special Fulapti pooja on the occasion. 

A large number of devotees from neighbouring district Bara and from Rautahat and Indian bordering towns thronged the Gahawamai Temple to observe the Fulpati celebrations.
