Indian national held with sliver jewelleries
Baglung - An Indian national, Surendra Saha, was held with 14.5-kg of illegal silver jewelleries.
Police nabbed Saha, 51, of Aurahiyathana-4, Adapur of Motihari district in India from Baglung headquarters on Sunday evening.
Baglung District Police Chief SP Chandra Kunwar Khapung informed that Saha was caught with varieties of silver-made jewelleries worth amounting to around Rs 320,000.
SP Khatun informed that Saha has been importing illegal silver jewelleries from Raksaul, India and selling out to traders of Baglung.
Police said that only 50 % original silver has been found used in the jewelleries confiscated from the Indian national.
Further investigation is taking place into the incident, police said.
