Assistance of Rs 55,000 to ailing singer Gurung

Kathmandu - Singer and musician Purna Gurung, who has been undergoing treatment of kidney related complications at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital since August 10, has received an assistance of Rs 55,000. 

The aid amount was jointly provided by Angels Gurung Society, Prakash Gurung, Nepali Congress Tanahun Treasurer Resham Gurung and Joseph Ghale. 

Singer Gurung has so far received aid of Rs 1.2 million from different organizations and relatives for the treatment.
