Support to school from abroad

Beni, Myagdi - People from Bhakimli of Myagdi district currently living in Spain have collected and provided Rs 937 thousand for the construction of a 30-room building of the local Jayanti Secondary School. 

The amount was collected at the initiatives of Santa Bahadur Chhetri, who is currently in Barcelona of Spain. Chetrri also coordinated in the donation collection. Other Nepalis living in Spain also contributed money for this purpose. 

The total estimated cost of the school building is Rs 30 million and the District Education Office, Myagdi has provided Rs 1.95 million. The rest of the cost is to be met through voluntary labour, collection of donation from locals and other fund-raising programmes.
