CIAA files charge sheet against Nayab Subba Kandel

 

Kathmandu - The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a charge sheet against Nayab Subba of Department of Industry, Tripureshwor, Govinda Prasad Kandel at the Special Court on Tuesday. 


The CIAA team had taken Kandel under control few days ago on the basis of a tip-off that Kandel had asked Rs 33,000 as bribe in course of providing trademark sign to the Nepalgunj-based Khadka Industries, said CIAA Spokesperson, Jibraj Koirala. 


The CIAA had registered the complaint against Kandel demanding maximum punishment as per the Corruption Prevention Act.
