'15 media violate election code in Province No. 2'

Kathmandu - The Press Council Nepal has made aware to 15 media outlets based in Province No 2 for violating the election code of conduct. 

The media outlets violated the election code of conduct while publishing and disseminating election-related materials for the third-phase of local level elections taking place on September 18. 

In course of carrying out monitoring, the Council found two newspapers, nine radios, one television and three online portals violating the election code of conduct. 

Joint-Administrative Officer, Deepak Khanal, said that the Council drew attention of the media outlets to follow the election code of conduct.
