People's investment in nation building: CM Pokhrel

Rupandehi–Chief Minister of state-5, Shankar Pokhrel, has said that the state government would make a plan in order to utilize people's investment in nation building.

Administrating oath of office and secrecy to Chief Executive Officer of State Infrastructure Development Authority, Dhruba Majgainya, at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers at Butwal today, Chief Minister Pokhrel mentioned that activities of infrastructure development should be forwarded utilizing people's investment in right place.

He expressed the view that it was necessary to construct commercial building at bordering areas to end the trend of Nepali citizen of visiting Indian markets for shopping.

Chief Minister Pokhrel said an environment should be built to use nation's property in nation's activities. He added, "The State Planning Commission has been identifying projects linking with investment summit. It is necessary to make our participation result-oriented in this connection. The Infrastructure Development Authority should take its leadership." Similarly, Chief Executive Officer Majgainya expressed commitment to work for the development of the state. A cabinet meeting of state-5 held on January 27 had decided to appoint Majgainya to the post.
