Awareness on violence against children and women

Pokhara - A sensitization programme on violence against women and children was organized here under the auspices of Community Service Centre and Community Police Service, Matepani, Pokhara. 

On the occasion, people's representatives called for the support and cooperation from all stakeholders to end various types of violations prevailing in society. 

The speakers suggested the concerned authorities and stakeholders to put on priority the sensitization programmes to address the violent activities taking place in society. 

Altogether 111 participants representing different sectors took part in the event.
