Turkish national held for ATM Fraud
Kathmandu - A Turkish national has been arrested on the charge of drawing out cash from ATMs of various banks using fake ATM cards.
Ikrim Armanki,30, was arrested red handed while he was carrying out the act on Tuesday. He was made public today. He was arrested in possession of 34 ATM cards, four mobile telephone and a laptop along with 1225 Euro, 9710 US dollars and 33,000 Indonesia Rupiah, according to Nepal Police, Central Investigation Bureau.
The CIB has so far arrested 15 foreigners for indulging in ATM fraud including four Romanians, three Turkish, two Bulgarians, four Moldovan and two Indians. They are facing action as per the Banking Crime and Punishment Act, 2064. RSS
