DRR Bill to be directly tabled at parliament

Kathmandu - Meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to directly table the Disaster Risk Reduction Bill to the Legislature-Parliament. 

Minister for Information and Communications Mohan Bahadur Basnet shared that the government has decided to directly table the bill at the parliament with wider demand to present the DRR Bill in the parliament. 

The Cabinet also decided to grant the Civil Servant Service Awards to 10 Joint Secretaries on the occasion of Civil Service Day-2074 BS. 

A committee formed under the leadership of Chief Secretary Rajendra Kishor Chhetri nominated the names of joint-secretaries for the award. 

The nominees are Deepak Subedi, Dilli Raj Ghimire, Kebal Prasad Bhandari, Prem Lal Lamichhane, Indra Prasad Acharya, Jeevan Raj Sedai, Jagannath Baral, Laxmi Bhakta Kalaini, Prahlad Kumar Yogi and Anil Khanal.
