Transportation resumes along Prithvi highway

Chitwan - The vehicular movement along the Prithvi highway has resumed following the clearance of landslide debris at Fishling and Ghoptevir sections. 

The traffic movement resumed at 8:30 am, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Deepak Thapa of District Police Office, Chitwan.

The road stretch along the highway was blocked after landslides struck at 12:30 am. 

Meanwhile, the Naryangadh – Muglin route still remains obstructed from multiple landslides. Authorities are working to clear the landslide debris at Kalikhola, Kerabari and Charkilo sections along the route.
