Maoist Center’s Chair Dahal holds meeting with Bhattarai at Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU, July 19: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting with Babu Ram Bhattarai, federal council chair of Janata Samajbadi Party at Singha Durbar on Tuesday.

The two leaders have been meeting frequently in recent days and the Babu Ram Bhattari faction of JSP is preparing to split from the party and launch a new political party.

Bhattari has also been holding meetings with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The JSP has already decided to take action against the Bhattarai-led faction of the party and relieve them from their posts due to which the party is on the brink of split.
