Maoist Center decides to ratify MCC

KATHMANDU, Feb 27: CPN (Maoist Center), a key coalition partner of the government, has decided to support the government to ratify the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
A central committee meeting of the party held on Sunday took a decision to ratify the MCC compact agreement with an ‘interpretative declaration’.
The party took the decision after the ruling alliance conducted an ‘interpretative declaration’ on the disputed points.
With this, the ruling alliance has now forged a consensus to ratify the MCC compact.
