NA polls: Vote count begins in Lumbini Province

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Voting for the election of National Assembly members has concluded in Lumbini Province and the vote count has begun.

The voting for the election of members of the National Assembly (NA) had begun at 9 AM this morning. A total of 296 voters including members of the provincial assembly and people's representatives cast their votes.

Yubaraj Sharma, Rajya Laxmi Gire and Tula Prasad BK have been fielded in the election by the ruling alliance while Ram Dayal Gupta, Barati Khanal and Krishna Sunar are vying for the posts representing the CPN-UML.
