UML elects delegates for General Convention in 14 districts

KATHMANDU: Main opposition CPN-UML is holding elections to pick delegates for the 10th National General Convention of the party, on Saturday. 

As many as 1,999 delegates are to be picked from among 800,000 party members. 

As per the report released by the party, 12 districts have so far elected their delegates unanimously to join the party’s general convention to be held in Chitwan. Two other districts held elections for the selection of delegates. 

The convention is scheduled between November 26 and 28. The party held its First Statute Congress at Godawari, Lalitpur in October, earlier this year.

4. Kaski 

5. Kapilvastu 

6. Arghakhanchi

7. Baglung

8. Myagdi

9. Makwanpur

11. Salyan

12. Rolpa

13. Lamjung

14. Jajarkot
