PM Deuba in eastern Nepal to take stock of floods and landslides victims
KATHMANDU, October 23: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is travelling eastern Nepal to take stocks of victims of recent floods and landslides.
PM Deuba is scheduled to visit Sunsari, Morang, Illam and Panchthar districts on Sunday, according to PM’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba.
PM Deuba left for eastern Nepal at around 8 AM this morning and will be back in Kathmandu by the evening.
After the visit, PM Deuba has assured victims of immediate and sustainable support and compensation.
PM Deuba recently visited various districts in Sudurpaschim Province which were largely hit by disasters triggered by unseasonal incessant rainfalls.
