Know team Madhav Nepal; Four vice-chairmen, three deputy general secretaries finalized

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) led by Madhav Kumar Nepal has finalized the names of some office-bearers. 

A Standing Committee meeting held on Thursday morning picked the names for the positions of vice chairmen, general secretary, deputy general secretaries and secretaries. According to a leader of the party, Rajendra Pandey, Dharmanath Sah, Jayanti Rai and Pramesh Hamal will be named the party vice-chairmen while Dr Bedu Ram Bhusal will be entrusted as the general secretary. 

Similarly, Dr Bijaya Poudel, Dr Gangalal Tuladhar and Prakash Jwala have been picked as the deputy general secretaries. 

The party is all set to nominate Ram Kumari Jhakri, Jagannath Khatiwada, Nagendra Chaudhary and Keshab Lal Shrestha as the party’s secretaries. 

The names will be tabled in the Central Committee meeting which is scheduled to be held on Thursday afternoon. 

The party registered with the Election Commission(EC) on August 25.
