House meeting underway amid UML obstruction (with photos)

KATHMANDU: Main opposition CPN-UML has been obstructing the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) immediately after Friday’s House session began.
No sooner had Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota began Friday’s House proceedings than the lawmakers of the main opposition party got out of their seats and started chanting slogans.
Following their obstruction, Speaker Sapkota postponed the meeting for 15 minutes. The meeting has now resumed.
The meeting of the lower House of parliament was obstructed on Wednesday as well.
