One Dead, 30 Injured in Udaipur School Bus Accident

Kathmandu. One person has died in a school bus accident in Udayapur. 30 people were injured in the accident that took place on Saturday morning. 

The bus, BA 2 Kha 6438, carrying staff of Deep Education Boarding School, which was going from Mahottari to Sunsari, met with an accident on the road at Jogitol, Udayapur Gadhi Rural Municipality-07. The bus was carrying staff of Deep Education Boarding School.

Bimlesh Dutt of Bardibas Municipality in Mahottari died in the accident. The District Police Office, Udayapur informed that he died at 9:50 am during treatment. Two seriously injured are undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital Biratnagar, and 28 injured are undergoing treatment at District Hospital Udayapur, police informed. Two people traveling in the bus were safe, police informed. 

Police suspect that the bus lost control and met with an accident. The District Police Office, Udayapur informed that further investigation is underway regarding the incident.
