Motorcycle Accident Claims One Life in Dolakha

Dolkha. One youth has died in a motorcycle accident in Bhimeshwor Municipality of Dolakha. On Friday evening, near Pipalbot in Bhimeshwor Municipality-5, two motorcycles collided, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Rasik Shrestha from Vaiteshwor Rural Municipality-8, Chhetra. 

Two people were seriously injured in the accident. Umesh Tamang, approximately 26 years old, from Vaiteshwor Rural Municipality-2, Putlikath, and Vivek Thami, 19 years old, from Bhimeshwor Municipality-6, Chothang, were seriously injured in the accident.

The incident occurred when the motorcycle with registration number Ba.Pra. 02-062 Pa. 8486, traveling from Charikot towards Jiri, collided with the motorcycle with registration number Ba.80 Pa. 7973, coming from the opposite direction towards Charikot, according to the District Police Office, Dolakha. 

Both injured individuals have been referred to Dhulikhel Hospital, police said. The body of Shrestha, who died in the accident, has been kept at the Pashupati Chaulagain Smriti Hospital in Charikot, police said.
