Man Arrested with Illegal Firearm and Suspicious Items in Dhangadhi

Kathmandu. A person has been arrested with a country-made pistol and various suspicious items from a room of a house near Satkar Chowk in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-5, Kailali.

The arrested person is Sahil Khan, 24, originally from India and currently residing in a rented room near Satkar Chowk.

Based on special information at 22:25 on Tuesday night, the police searched Khan's room and recovered 1 country-made pistol, 1 wrench, 1 silver karuwa, 2 necklaces that appear to be silver, 2 flashlights, 1 iron rod, 1 digital scale, and 1 khukuri.

Khan, arrested with the recovered items, is in custody at the District Police Office, Kailali, and further investigation is underway.
