Rabi Lamichhane's India Visit Approved by Rastriya Swatantra Party Presidium Meeting

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Presidium meeting has approved the visit of party chairman Rabi Lamichhane to India. The virtual meeting held in the morning approved Lamichhane's India visit.

In the meeting, Lamichhane informed that Bharatiya Janata Party President Nitin Naveen had previously extended an invitation for the visit. The delegation led by Lamichhane will include Joint General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya, Presidium member Deepak Bohora, Mrs. Nikita Paudel, and Pradip Acharya. Treasurer Lima Adhikari informed that the meeting was focused on the general convention and no other issues were discussed.

"The chairman informed about the India visit. The meeting has approved the visit. There was no discussion regarding the Prime Minister's statement. The discussion was focused on the general convention," she said.

The delegation is scheduled to depart for New Delhi at 1 PM. Spokesperson Manish Jha informed that during the five-day visit, Lamichhane will participate in high-level political and diplomatic meetings in New Delhi.

According to Jha, discussions will be held with the top leadership of the BJP. In addition, a personal visit to Ayodhya, as well as meetings with the Nepali community residing in India and party well-wishers, are also included.
