Man arrested for sharing ex-girlfriend's explicit videos
Kathmandu, January 16 — The police have arrested a 31-year-old man on charges of cybercrime.
The Cyber Crime Bureau of Nepal Police apprehended Saroj Katwal, a permanent resident of Shadananda Municipality, Ward No. 5, Bhojpur, who was currently residing in Bouddha, Kathmandu.
Katwal allegedly sent explicit videos of a woman, which he had filmed during their relationship, to the victim's sister after their relationship ended. This led to a police complaint being filed.
Upon investigation, Katwal's involvement was confirmed, leading to his arrest.
The Bureau stated in a press release on Thursday that the investigation is ongoing, with Katwal being held under a 5-day remand order from the Kathmandu District Court.
