Two killed in Kapilvastu motorcycle collision

Butwal, January 16 — Two people lost their lives in a motorcycle collision last night in Kapilvastu. One person is injured.

The incident took place on an inner road section in Ward 11 of Banganga Municipality, Kapilvastu, where two motorcycles with Nepali and Indian registration plates collided.

The deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Roman Tharu from Sainamaina-4, Rupandehi, who was riding the motorcycle with registration number Lu 10 Pa 4496, and 35-year-old Nehaman Ali from Shuddhodhan Rural Municipality, Kapilvastu, who was riding the motorcycle with registration number UP 55 AH 7090.

Both individuals succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the hospital, as confirmed by District Police Office Kapilvastu spokesperson and DSP Mohan Mani Adhikari.

The injured, 26-year-old Ajay Tharu, is receiving treatment at a local hospital.
