Congress-UML government must not fail: Shankar Pokharel

Kathmandu, December 30 — General Secretary of the CPN (UML), Shankar Pokharel, has stated that the two major parties, Congress and UML, participating in the government have no room for failure.

Speaking at a program organized by the CPN (UML) Dang Publicity Department in Ghorahi on Monday, where the newly elected executive committee of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) was honored, Pokharel emphasized that the government was formed with the cooperation of the major parties to end instability, and that there was no space for failure for the two parties.

General Secretary Pokharel highlighted that under the leadership of CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli, the current government has been successful in bringing reforms in several areas.

He further stated, "There is no need to fear instability; there is no situation to be afraid of. Now, with solid groundwork, the two parties are moving forward to face the challenges."
