UML expels former Vice Chair Bhim Rawal
Kathmandu, December 25 — The CPN (UML) has revoked the general membership of leader Bhim Rawal.
After the meeting of the UML Secretariat on Wednesday, Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali informed that Rawal’s membership has been revoked.
At the 10th General Convention, Rawal had been a candidate for the party Chair.
UML claims that recently, instead of strengthening the party, Rawal has made statements that continuously weaken it.
Gyawali stated, "The statements made by him have been in a direction that weakens the party rather than strengthening it, so the decision was made to revoke his general membership."
