Chinese Communist leader Jiajun to meet Deuwa today, Oli tomorrow

KATHMANDU, July 24: The high-level political meeting between the Chinese Communist Party team and Nepalese leader Sher Bahadur Deuwa is scheduled to be held today. A team led by Yuan Jiajun, a Political Bureau member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, arrived in Nepal on Sunday.

The Chinese Communist Party team held a courtesy meeting with President Ramchandra Paudel and Acting Prime Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka. The political team also held a virtual meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', who is on his political trip to Italy.

Jiajun is scheduled to meet with former Prime Minister and Nepal Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuwa today afternoon at Deuwa's residence. He is also scheduled to hold a meeting with UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday morning.

Former Prime Minister Oli is returning to Nepal on Monday night from his visit to Cambodia.
