Results of gold to come in 1 week

KATHMANDU, July 20: The illegal gold seized by the Department of Revenue Investigation has been taken to the Mint Division in the Currency Management Department of the Nepal Rastra Bank. The Director of the Division Thaneshwar Acharya informed Ratopati that the seized gold have been brought to the Mint Division by the Department of Revenue Investigation and that further investigation is being conducted.

According to Acharya, 8 packets of gold have arrived which weigh 154 kilograms (along with the weight of the packet), but it might take a week to measure the exact weight of the gold.

“Now it is 154 kg including the weight of the 'brake pad', Acharya told Ratopati, "The green signal for the measurement of the gold weight has not come from the concerned body. After permission to weigh the gold is given, the gold will be separated from the brake pad and then smelted.
