Misconduct against deputy speaker and UML deputy leader

BIRATNAGAR, June 8: UML Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Ram Rana Magar was attacked with black substances by identity activists in Ilam.

Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly, Srijana Danuwar was also a victim of misconduct today. A group of identity activists attempted to attack Danuwar and pulled out the flag from the vehicle she was riding in Gaighat, Udaypur.

A negotiation committee was formed by the government under the coordination of Minister Tilkumar Menyangbo to address the demands and issues of identity activists on Wednesday. But Deputy Speaker Danuwar and UML Deputy Leader Rana were abused by the identity activists before the negotiation committee could start its work.
