7 documents were signed during India Visit: Prime Minister

KATHMANDU, June 5: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda revealed that 7 documents were signed and exchanged during his visit to India.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, Prime Minister Dahal answered the questions raised by the opposition party. According to the Prime Minister, the foundation for the Bhairahawa Sunauli Integrated Checkpoint, which will be built with the financial and technical support of the Government of India, has been laid.

Due to the expansion of Integrated Checkpoint and Quarantine services, businesses will be expanded, import of quality goods will be increased and it would be easier to stop unauthorized trade, Prime Minister expresses his beliefs.

He also mentioned that the foundation for the second phase of construction of Motihari Amlekhgunj Petroleum Pipeline had been laid and it was agreed to extend it to Lothar, Chitwan. PM Prachanda announced that the foundation for Butwal Gorakhpur 400 KV Inland Transmission Line had been laid.
