RPP decides to remain neutral in Vice Presidential election

KATHMANDU, March 15: Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided to remain neutral in the election of the Vice Presidency. Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha informed that RPP's Central Performance Committee meeting held on Wednesday decided upon not voting in the Vice-Presidential election and remaining neutral.

RPP had also decided to remain neutral in the presidential election which was held on the 9th of March.

The meeting also protested the government's decision to reduce the subsidy farmers are getting on chemical fertilizers. RPP has held that the decision to increase the price is short-sighted, inhumane and unfair.

Just after the meeting, RPP issued a press release that directed the government's attention to take back the decision on the increase of price, manage manure for farmers with fast and easy access, and also prioritize the establishment of factories to produce manure in the state.

RPP has also directed the government's attention towards controlling the high-interest rate for debtors the bank and financial institutions have imposed and maintain financial stability in the nation.
