State 3 CM Poudel wants current generation to work hard

Hetauda– State 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel has said the current generation is expected to toil to establish the country as an independent, prosperous and well developed nation by breaking the vicious circle of underdevelopment and poverty.

In his address to a programme organised on the occasion of the Republic Day here today, he said the present generation needs to sacrifice for transformations in the society.

Today's republic is the integrated form of success of the 1950s people's movement against the then Rana regime; 1990s movement for restoration of multi-party democracy and second people's movement in 2006 or all those people's movements of so far.

Expressing words of a tribute to those all known and unknown people attaining martyrdom in course of several movements, he pledged to unabatedly follow the path carved by those martyrs.

Claiming that an end to prolonged political instability followed the formation of three-tier government had raised the hope of better days among the people, the Chief Minister vowed zero tolerance against corruption, efficiency in project implementation, evaluation of employees on the basis of performance, an end to dillydallying in administrative works, maximum utilisation of technology, guarantee of social security, legal and policy-level clarity, creation of investment and industry-friendly atmosphere and the implementation of scientific land-use policy remained as the top priorities of the State government.
